5 Productivity-Boosting Features You Might Have Missed
Speed up your email production times with these handy new updates.
Did you know we launch new updates about every six weeks? At that pace, it can be tough to keep up with all the things you can do with WordFly. Here’s a quick new feature roundup to help you and your team stay on top of it all.
Wait! Ooops! D’oh! Whatever words you use, when you accidentally delete a section of your email, the feeling is the same: Instant Regret. That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of the “Are you sure?” warning in the Modern Editor. Next time you right-click and select Delete, WordFly will ask you to confirm you actually want to delete that block.
Let WordFly do the math! If you’ve ever inserted an image into a text area, you the know the pain of seeing your image ever so slightly distorted when changing the dimensions. Now you can click the lock button to keep the width and height dimensions of your images locked in place.
The Font Feels
We’ve improved the UI in WordFly to make it easier to find your favorite fonts. Now just click on the dropdown button to see the websafe fonts available for use. Better yet, you can type the name of any font you want to use. Just a reminder—even though you can use any font in WordFly, not all of your subscribers will have that font on their computer. Use this feature with care!
Have you used the new WordFly image editor yet? OK, I know I overuse the word “amazing,” but this really is amazing! There’s so much you can do with it. Crop, edit, layer text, layer buttons, add borders, filters, adjust the sharpness, color, hue, contracts and even add shapes and make circle-shaped images. That’s not even the half of it. So, stop what you are doing, log into WordFly, upload and image and click “Edit image.” See? Amazing!
We recently made WordFly a bit more video-friendly. Now you can choose to use the embedded or hosted video option. When using hosted video, we’ll automatically pull in the video poster screen from YouTube and Vimeo. Just add the video URL and voilà.
